Blessing has been waiting for a home for over 2 months now - without even a single meet-and-greet. We don't know why!!! She hopes someone will choose her soon. She was likely adopted as a "covid kitten" in 2020 and then surrendered to an overcrowded shelter in Texas (due to no fault of her own) with the threat of euthanasia around the corner. Luckily, she was able to make her way to Colorado to find a home! Blessing is not just a cat; she's a true bundle of joy waiting to brighten your every day. With her outgoing nature and super-friendly, and quite funny demeanor, she's sure to steal your heart from the moment you meet her. Don't be surprised if she rolls over to show off her adorable tummy as soon as you walk in the door - it's her signature move! Her foster mom has fostered over 300 cats and considers Blessing one of the rare cats she would keep if she could. Whoever adopts her will be very lucky! This social butterfly adores people and craves attention like nobody's business. Whether you're petting her, playing with wand toys, or simply enjoying some HGTV on the couch, Blessing will be right by your side, soaking up every moment of your company. She's a bit of a chatty catty, telling you how she feels, especially when her food bowl is empty! But don't let her rotund bod fool you! She's surprisingly playful and even quite fast. She LOVES chasing wand toys and going after "bed mice" and toy mice. She provides hours of entertainment with her silly purrsonality! While Blessing does not like other cats, she will tolerate a cat-friendly, calm dog with a proper, slow intro. Like a lot of cats, Blessing can *very* occasionally get over-stimulated while playing her favorite game of "blanket mice", so we don't think kiddos are a great fit. Calicos, amirite?!
